Wednesday, March 19, 2008 from 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM (ET)
Join NYC Venture Philanthropy Fund at Sugar as we publicly launch our "small money, big change" approach to philanthropy.
We are a giving circle of New Yorkers supporting local social entrepreneurs who are tackling persistent social and economic problems. Using a giving circle’s democratic principles and emphasis on community giving, plus the hands-on capacity building of venture philanthropy, we offer VPF members and grant recipients high-impact, high-engagement philanthropy.
We're going to kick off spring and our first giving cycle with cocktails, conversation, and more. Hope to see you there!
**Sugar is offering us an extended happy hour until 7:30**
The NYC Venture Philanthropy Fund (VPF) was founded on a simple idea: the collective power of individual effort.
VPF is a giving circle of individuals who invest in social entrepreneurs focused on tackling persistent social and economic problems in New York City.*
Small money, big change.
*For the 2008/9 season, VPF focused its efforts on the environment.
